The Character Challenge is designed to examine the behavioral traits that make up the Black males character. This challenge is centered on the six pillars of character education: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fair­ness, caring, and citizenship.

These pillars are a deliberate effort to help shape attitudes, values, and beliefs which will ultimately lead to future success.

Furthermore, the activities will instill in members beliefs, attitudes, and values consistent with the BADD culture.
